8 January 2019 Happy New Year

Happy new year!

So we are back in the swing of things on the nursery after a lovely festive break.

There seems to be a lot of Christmas tree re-stocking happening now, let us know if you require any trees for this or if you are interested in starting to grow Christmas trees have a look at this link.

This time of year is perfect for planting your new hedges and woodland areas before the bare-root season comes to a close at the end of March/beginning of April, it seems rather mild here at the moment so we wonder if there is going to be a late cold snap like last year!  Still, it is great to take the advantage of being able to lift and plant trees without the usual problem in January of frozen ground.

We have good stocks of hedge plants available whether you are planning to plant a Beech hedge, a mixed conservation hedge or something non-thorny for the garden. We also have trees available for woodland planting, screening, shelterbelts and specimen trees.

If you would like any advice on what you should plant in your area please do contact us.
